Linguistics

India is a museum of languages. The only country in the world with languages belonging to four major families : Indo-European, Dravidian, Sino-Tibetan and Austric. 25 % people have a Dravidian language as mother tongue.74 % have Indo-European languages as mother tongues. There are many countries in the world where people speak different languages. But most of these languages belong to one or maximum two major families.
